Lady with Lewy body Dementia in Cornhill on Tweed area requires a home care worker to support with 20hrs per week.

We are hoping for someone to support 4hrs a day across 5 days per week, days and times flexible in agreement with employer.

Experience preferred but not essential.

Hours of work: 20hrs per week
Rates of Pay: £13.09 per hour

Main Duties: To support client with showering and dressing, toileting when required and support around making a meal and encouraging to eat and drink. Support with prompting medication if needed.

Personal specification: Honest, reliable and caring nature. Punctual and trustworthy Respect confidentiality

Further Information: An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense).

Training: Where it is required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
