Care Assistant / Carer
Location: Individual's Home
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Shifts: Mixture of mainly days with occasional nights (approximately 2 nights per month)
Hours: One position is available; part time hours of up to 24 per week plus additional holiday cover.
Shift timings: Day shift 7:00am - 5:00pm or 7:00pm / Nightshift 7:00pm - 7:00am
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our small, caring team providing excellent personalised care for an individual with a brain injury. The role involves working in a 2:1 care setting, alongside another staff member, to ensure comprehensive support 24 hours a day in a friendly and caring environment.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with dressing and daily activities
· Administer medications as prescribed
· Support with hydrotherapy and physiotherapy sessions
· Accompany individual on outings and walks
· Driving is beneficial but not essential
· General upkeep of home
Requirements:
· A caring and empathetic nature
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team
· Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including occasional nights
· Commitment to providing high-quality, personalised care
· Bubbly and positive outlook
