2 PAs needed to support husband and wife with social activities for 8 hours a week in LS22 - WETHERBY - LS22

Job title:    Personal Assistant/ Care-Worker – 8 Hours p/w in Wetherby, LS22

Hourly Rate - £9.43

Holiday Entitlement – 5.6 weeks per annum pro rata

Probationary Period – 3 months

Job Purpose

2 Pas needed to support a husband and wife in the community for social integration. This may include the PA to accompany them on day trips into Wetherby, Leeds, Harrogate or York, when the weather permits. The PA would be assisting on public transport and offering general care whilst out. The support will aim to boost their confidence when going out into the community in their wheelchairs. 

The PA will need to have a full and clean driving licence as they will be required to drive a mobility vehicle.  the van is a ford transit custom l2 automatic and new so driver must be confidndent in driving automatics may need to use public transport on rare occasions but onley if desperate

The PA should have a good sense of humour and be flexible with their availability. They must be willing to follow direction and appreciate that the needs of the employer may change day-to-day. 

Some shifts may require the PA to support both individuals together. This would be arranged directly with the employer when needed.
