Self-Employed Female Personal Assistant – £17.15 per hour
I am looking for a reliable, friendly and understanding female Personal Assistant to provide around 4 hours of support per week, ideally 2 hours twice a week. Days and times are flexible, but I am unavailable on Wednesdays and Monday mornings. Monday afternoons and Thursday mornings may work well.
I live with chronic pain, arthritis and degenerative disc disease, which can affect my back, hips, knees, hands and wrists. I can therefore struggle with household tasks such as washing, changing beds, keeping on top of the house and general housework.
I also have dyslexia and significant learning difficulties, which can make reading, writing, sorting paperwork/letters, making phone calls and organising everyday life difficult.
Support may include:
- Light household tasks and keeping things organised
- Help with food shopping and cooking, including chopping when needed
- Sorting letters and paperwork
- Making phone calls and helping organise appointments/life admin
- General practical support around the home
I have two teenagers and enjoy doing as much as I can independently. I can sometimes become very focused on tasks, while at other times I may need more support.
There is no personal care or medication support required.
The role is mainly based in my home, with occasional support in the community. I am looking for someone patient, trustworthy, supportive and respectful of my independence.
Rate: £17.15 per hour, self-employed PA.
