A friendly gentleman in his eighties is seeking one or more reliable Personal Assistants to provide morning support in his home in Hoveton.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are personable, dependable, and enjoy providing one-to-one support in a calm, home-based environment.
About the Role
The successful candidate(s) will provide a morning visit to assist with daily living tasks, helping to ensure comfort, dignity, and a positive start to the day.
Duties will include:
- Supporting with personal care, including showering and applying creams
- Preparing simple meals, including batch cooking
- Making the bed and maintaining a tidy environment
- Ensuring everything needed for the day is prepared
The gentleman has a small, friendly dog and enjoys conversation, so a warm and sociable approach is important.

- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy (routine is important)

- Comfortable working in a home environment with a pet dog
Summary Terms and Conditions
· The rate of pay for this position is £12.89 per hour
· Hours and times of work as follows: up to 8.5 hours per week which can be shared between two Personal Assistants (times to be negotiated at interview).
· The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.
· Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers.
The post is subject to the following:
· A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer.
· Completion of a satisfactory probation period of 6 months.
