TEMPORARY CARE WORKER REQUIRED LEEDS LS11 up to 18.5 hours weekly
Job title: TEMPORARY Personal Assistant/ Care-Worker
Hourly rate and working pattern:
£10.25 per hour Monday to Sunday
Monday to Friday total 8.5 hours weekly. Mon, Wed & Fri – 5:30-7pm. Tue & Thur – 12-2pm.
Saturday to Sunday total 10 hours weekly on alternate weekends. Sat & Sun – 7:30-9am, 12-2pm, 5:30-7:00pm
Holiday Entitlement – 5.6 weeks per annum pro rata
Probationary Period – 3 months
Job Purpose – To support a gentleman who has renal failure and attends dialysis three times a week.
To provide support to a gentleman in his own home with meal preparation (no ready-made meals due to condition). To clean surfaces after meal preparation and also the microwave. Also to wash up and place cutlery/plates in a cupboard etc.
Personal care is also part of the role and assists with medication.
Ironing is also part of the role and 1.5 hours have been assigned for this.
