Required for lively 9yr old girl with Autism and ADHD in Bath, BA2, to access the community and offer respite for family.
Up to 2hrs per week (term time) and 5 hours (school holidays), at weekends.
£8.72 per hour.
My daughter likes making music videos, drawing on the IPad, and when we are able going to the park. I would like the PA to engage and take an interest in these activities.
PA will be accompanied by parent, and work towards being lone working and providing companionship to access the community and encouragement to engage in social activities such as play parks, climbing and the general outdoors.
The ideal candidate will be mature in nature and have experience and understanding of Autism, ADHD and behavioural issues, and have a calm but firm manner, patience, a good sense of humour and lots of energy.
Car owner preferred but not essential, PA must however have a full, clean UK driving licence. Promoting safety in the community and danger awareness is important.
Role subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
