The person who applies for this job would be expected to investigate the child's condition prior to interview.  The role is promote her independence in the community and also care for her at home.  She has one sibling and lives with her parents.  Due to her condition she can present with challenging behavior and become verbally abusive.  The person we employ would provide the skills to help her develop her social and emotional skills as she has recently started high school.  She enjoys online gaming visiting shops parks and restaurants.  She also enjoys the cinema and trampolining.  She has a happy fun disposition but because of her condition needs constant supervision to keep her safe and provide a good role model.  She can become unruly causing chaos in the bathroom etc.  You would work flexible hours covering late afternoons and some Friday/Saturday evenings to enable her parents to go out.  You would administer her medication (under the direction of the parents) make her supper and settle her to bed.  Hours are term time 7 non term time 12. A car would be desirable not essential.
