Personal Assistant required for disabled young man currently residing in Brislington. Support required when attending Bath University. Type of support required some personal care, food preparation (prior knowledge of vegan diet would be advantageous) and some domestic tasks. Flexibility is essential.
Pay rates weekday £9.50 per hour
Hours 28.5 per week
Shifts required - Monday to Sunday (refer to rota for specific shifts
Morning visit
Help me to get up out of bed, get the clothes that I want to wear (some help with dressing e.g. putting on layers and socks). Making my breakfast and preparing my bag ready for University lectures.
Prepare meals (batch cook) for lunch, snack and evening meal - such as mash potato, spaghetti bolognese, or a smoothie
Afternoon visit – snack and evening meal
Prepare a meal e.g. mash potato and greens or a smoothie
Evening meal
Prepare my evening meal and tidy kitchen after use.
Night visit;
Help to undress and get into bed.
Additional Support required
2 hours - Wednesday 10:00 to 12:00 cleaning, laundry and shopping
2 hours – floating support to access the community or event that I would like to attend.
