Self Employed Carers required to provide care to a disabled gentleman with a spinal cord injury in the Langley Moor area.

As a self employed worker you will be able to choose the shifts and availability which will suit you but available shifts include 8.15 – 10.15, 21.30 - 22.30 seven days a week and 17.00 - 18.00 Mon to Fri.

Duties include personal care, catheter care, showering, dressing, assisting with exercises, transferring and following night time routine.

Experience is not essential as full training will be provided. It is more important to have a willingness to learn and a positive personality who is willing to work alongside others and follow instruction.

A driving licence is not essential but must be able to arrive promptly to agreed shifts.

A DBS check is mandatory and must be supplied prior to starting work.

As a self employed care provider insurance is also required but guidance around this can be provided.
