Personal Care Assistant required to support a disabled gentleman in the Haswell area.

It is anticipated that the successful candidate would work 19 hrs and 15 mins per week over 6 days. Day off is negotiable. Hours would include the following:

8am for 1 hr

2pm for 30 mins

5pm for 45 mins

The remaining hours are flexible and would be discussed at interview

Rate of pay £9.50 per hour

Tasks will include Personal Care, Showering, Ironing, changing bedding, shopping, meal preparation and supervising while eating.

Experience is not essential as training can be provided however the successful applicant should have had basic first aid training or be willing to complete this before starting the job.

The successful applicant would need to be reliable and have a good sense of humour.

Driving Licence is essential with access to a vehicle.

DBS is essential but the cost will be paid for by the employer.
