Your Job Description:

Your main duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):-

Job Role – Personal Assistant – 12 hours per month can be used flexibly
Leeds 18
DBS will be completed prior to starting work
Probationary Period – 3 months
Confidentiality is of the upmost importance

What am I looking for?

I am looking for a PA to support my teenage son who is autistic and can present with challenging behaviour, including head butting - he can become extremely violent and kick bite and will need restraining if this happens. You will be provided with training around autism, which is online at present.

He presents as a normal teenager and is verbal but will be very repetitive and his behaviour is affected by his anxieties. He does not like busy places and can panic if taken to new places that are not familiar to him.

Client likes:

He likes to chat and has a tendency to lie, therefore the support worker needs to be aware of this.
He likes to swim, use his playstation and would like to have support to use his skateboard in the park and his scooter.
He likes to visit the shops.
