When you arrive at 8pm you have to get everything prepared to help a second carer to put me to bed, this includes all aspects of personal care. Once I am settled in bed usually around 9pm the other carers shift finishes and you take over assisting me with the tv, reading or maybe doing a Sudoku. At around 10pm I have a cup of warm milk with honey and maybe a biscuit. This will entail sitting me up in bed and feeding me. I usually settle down around midnight I will call if I need to move position , need a urine bottle or another drink. This is a waking night for my needs.
