Personal Assistant required for 17 young man with ASD and Learning Difficulties BATH area - BATH - BA2

We are looking for someone to spend time with our friendly, sociable chap who loves going out!
The role would involve accompanying him to Time2Share dinner and social groups and taking him on outings – the shops, cafes, park, animal farms, cinema, walks or any other ideas you may have.
£11.00 per hour
Flexible hours - weekday afternoons/evenings, weekends and holidays.
. We would ideally like someone to commit to at least 4 hours a week and would like some fixed time slots.
At the moment we need 2 afternoon/evenings a week and hours over the weekend.
In total we need 12 hours a week but this can be made up by different PAs.
During the school holidays we would require more full days/ half days.
Possible 1 overnight shift cover once a month for the right person
We want someone who is patient, calm, fun, friendly, resourceful, resilient and will take the job seriously with the utmost concern for safety and wellbeing but can also have a good laugh.
Ideally we need someone with either/or experience in working with young people with additional needs.
An understanding of autism is also important.
There will be personal care tasks involved in this post
Current Driving Licence and vehicle required
Enhanced DBS check required
Please note this is a maternity leave post - after which the hours could reduce slightly.
