Russell will be 66 years old on 8/4/2021.

He has Cohen Syndrome - a rare recessive syndrome.

He is blind but finds his way around his very spacious bungalow on the North of Shrewsbury. He has mild autism. He can converse and understands most things. He has a club foot but does walk, albeit slowly. He can find his way to the bathroom and his lounge and kitchen but needs watching and needs 24/7 care inc. Waking Nights.

His long established weekend PA is retiring at the end of May 2021 and this is the post that will be available.

Russell does like to go out for walks and picnics and likes to visit charity shops when lockdown allows. He loves trains. Likes John Wayne and Disney DVDs to listen to.

He has four other PA's who have been with him a long time and who split the rest of the week's care. They would be willing, on occasion, to cover the odd weekend. At present the weekend PA covers Monday morning until 1pm due to Day Centre Closure. It is more than likely that Russell will not go back to Day Centre. NB The Average Weekly Hours shown are plus 2 Overnight Waking Sleeps.
