I am looking to recruit a Personal Assistant for 12 hours per week, able to commence work as soon as possible.
I live in the City of Bristol with my cat. I am Autistic, I have Dyspraxia and experience Anxiety with Obsessive-Compulsive behaviour.
Due to fluctuating mental health I can lack motivation to take care of myself and environment. I need a PA to support and prompt me with everyday tasks to live a balanced healthy lifestyle.
I am 28 years old; I love history, food festivals, cooking and enjoy pub quizzes. I am looking to access the community and seek new interests and hobbies.
Hours flexible:
PA is required 12 hours per week working over 3 or 4 days, between 10am – 5pm. I can be flexible, exact day/times to be agreed at interview.
As a Personal Care Assistant your job will be to provide:
- Support to access the community.
- Meal preparation, shopping, cooking, and domestic chore's
- Administration – make phone calls, deal with correspondence, arrange appointments, medication, and compile shopping list.
- Prompt around personal care.
- Convey my cat to the vet is necessary.
Essential Criteria
- PA must have a driving licence and access to a vehicle. I will cover the cost of business insurance.
- PA must not smoke in my property.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience of Autism, Dyspraxia, Anxiety and OCD an advantage.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policy and procedure.
You must be legally able to work in the UK. Proof of ID, two references and a full DBS check will be required, before anyone is hired. There will be a trial period of 12 weeks.
The position is paid at £10.00 per hour, plus mileage and will be paid through the PAYE scheme. This is not a cash position.
