JOB TITLE Personal Assistant

HOURS 16 a week 

Rate of Pay                 £10.46 

Probation period        3 months 

LOCATION Our own home and in the wider community


PURPOSE OF JOB 
I am looking for a PA to help me get out in the community as well as on days out in future using my Motability vehicle. It is essential that you are able to drive a large vehicle and feel comfortable doing so. My PA will also support me with tasks including administering medication, meal prep and brushing my teeth. I also enjoy other leisure activities such as going to the cinema and you will accompany me on these trips. 

You should have an enthusiastic attitude to work and be ready to suggest ideas of things to do on occasion. You must be organised, productive and have a good sense of humour. 

SUPERVISION 
My PA will be directed by and accountable to me in all aspects of their work.  He/She must always ask what I require and not make assumptions about any aspect of the assistance I need or how it should be carried out. He/She should not carry out tasks unless we have first discussed it.


ESSENTIAL  
- Able to drive Motability vehicle 
- Experienced at meal and food preparation 
- Experienced in PA roles
- Good people skills 
DESIRABLE
- Knowledge of medical needs


MAIN DUTIES
My PA will be required to do the following tasks and may be asked to carry out other tasks of a similar nature:
- Assist me with my medication 
- Prepare meals and other food when required 
- Drive my Motability vehicle and accompany me to activities and days out 
- Support me with other tasks such as brushing my teeth 
- Assisting with eating 
- Helping me with my daily routine.
