Full time or job share career/personal assistant required for a wheelchair dependent married women diagnosed with Friedreich's ataxia to assist with personal care needs in Chipping Sodbury BS37, family needs and maintaining independence, home duties including cooking for me and my family, cleaning, washing, ironing, caring for me and assisting with all care needs including showering, assisting to bathroom both home and work (I work 3 days a week), dressing, and any other personal needs.

Equipment used for moving and handling everyday (training given)

Running the house with duties to include but not exclusive of:

Ensuring family washing is complete as required, shopping as required, cleaning and ironing as required, loading and unloading of the dishwasher, changing bed linen as requested.
To be competent or willing to achieve basic first aid training, to be competent or willing to undertake manual handling training and the use of standing aids, stair lift.
Needs to have a full driving license and be a confident driver to drive employers car for Dental, Doctor, Hospital appointment' and any other requirements

Due to Covid-19, I have been working from home since last March so at the moment my hours are:

Monday- 7.30 - 9.30am 2pm - 5pm
Tuesday 7.30 - 10am 12pm- 5pm
Wednesday 7.30 - 10am 12pm- 5pm
Thursday 8.30 - 5pm
Friday 8.30 - 4pm

Hours not working from home

Monday - 6.45am till 9am 2pm till 5pm

Tuesday - 6.45 till 5pm

Wednesday - 6.45 till 5pm

Thursday - 8.30 till 5pm

Friday - 8.30 till 4pm

Job Type: Full-time or Job share

Salary: £9.35 per hour
