• Domestic duties including doing laundry and changing bed linen. 
• Helping me keep my home tidy and minimising hoarding.  
• Helping me access shops and public transport within the local community. 
• Assisting with admin duties such as helping me respond to important correspondence, address bill payments and book appointments. 
• Encouraging me to explore interests in other activities and groups to help minimise social isolation. 
• Encouraging me to comply with medication to maintain stability around my mental health and overall wellbeing.  
• Helping me to develop and maintain positive relationships with family, friends and professionals. 
• Any other reasonable duties as requested. 

• Previous experience in a social care role highly desirable. 
• Some understanding of, or previous experience working with, individuals with mental health support needs highly desirable. 
• Able to include me in decision-making around my care provision rather than making decisions for me. 

• The rate of pay for this position is £9.37 per hour. 

• You will be reimbursed for any agreed expenses incurred as part of the role  

• Hours and times of work: 4 hours per week, working 2hrs on 2 mornings (Mondays and Thursdays). 

• A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. 

• Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer. 

• Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
