PA Required for 15hours per week @ £9.18 per hour in Yeadon LS19 - LEEDS - LS19

Job title:    Personal Assistant/ Care-Worker to support a lady
Hourly Rate - £9.18
Holiday Entitlement – 5.6 weeks per annum pro rata
Probationary Period – 3 months

Job Purpose
To provide support for a lady with chronic health conditions in the home and community.  A large part of the role is to support her in taking her son to activities including swimming and drama he also likes to visit museums. The family also like to play board games and you would be involved in this.  You must like animals as the lady has a cat and a hamster.  You therefore must be patient and friendly and the hours will be flexible.  

Main Duties:
- To support with groups for her son
- Load dishwasher including light household tasks
- Occasionally emptying litter tray for cat
- Support with laundry and cooking
- To support the family with day trips and days out

Essentials 
 Show initiative and flexibility
 Attend work punctually and consistently.
 Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  Full driving licence
 
Skills 
 To be able to work unsupervised. 
 Good communication and listening skills. 
 To be able to take decisions and make sound judgements. 

 Motivation 
 To enjoy working with children.

Other 
 To hold a current and satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
