PA needed to help woman in LS26 with household tasks (10 hours a week). - Leeds - LS26

Job Description 

 

You will assist with helping my children to get ready for school. This includes making sure they get up, time reminders, making sure they have equipment for example their P.E. bags. Ensuring Lloyd has done his insulin, blood sugars and sometimes I would like my PA to take them to school. Talking to Harmony and Lloyd about any worries or concerns etc.

   

I would like my PA to support with; ironing, taking clothes off from the radiators, sometimes unloading the washer and putting clothes on radiators or hanging them out depending on weather. Hanging clothes, sorting underwear, pairing socks. I would also like my PA to support with washing up, put pots etc away, cleaning surfaces and vacuuming. You will also assist me with aspects of food preparation such as chopping when I am struggling with this.  

 

I sometimes need support with making Drs appointments, taking in and collecting prescriptions and going to the supermarket as well as speaking to people on my behalf when I do not feel up to this. 

 

When my PA helps starts on an afternoon:

    Check Lloyd's blood sugars, make tea, ensure Lloyd does his insulin, washing up, general tidying up, help support homework and assist with managing Lloyd's challenging behaviour. 

 

SUPERVISION                  

My PA will be directed by and accountable to me in all aspects of their work.  He/She must always ask what I require and not make assumptions about any aspect of the assistance I need or how it should be carried out. He/She should not carry out tasks unless we have first discussed it.
