Mature Experienced Female Care Assistant for a lady in the Durham area - DURHAM - DH6

Mature Experienced Female Care Assistant required to support a young lady with complex special needs living in the Durham area.
 
5 hours per per week – 7:00 am to 8:30 am  - 2 days a week and Sunday evenings. 
Flexible times can be arranged.

Rate of Pay: £10.50 per hour

 An experienced carer in moving and handling when using a hoist is required.
 The carer will be expected to assist with personal care needs and to get the lady ready on a morning and on an evening. 
 The carer will be required to help with feeding, however, the food will already be prepared in advance.
 As the young lady has limited verbal communication, the carer would be expected to have patience and understanding, as well as being aware and alert to the young ladies requirements.
 Experience of administration of medication would be preferable, but training can be provided.  
 Experience in working with complex special needs clients would be preferable, but not essential.
 
 A DBS is required paid for by the Employer
