We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and conscientious female assistant to support our family member who lives with profound learning disabilities, autism and complex epilepsy. Full training will be provided for the right candidate and previous experience of care is not essential.

The role consists of supporting our family member with a set of structured daily activities as well as showing initiative and innovation to create a meaningful and fun environment.

Maternity cover:
·       An average of five shifts a week; these are currently 7.30am to 1.30pm and 1.15pm to 8.30pm seven days a week.
·       This will be a fixed term position initially, dependent on the return of the substantive post holder.
·       This is a full-time position and, while our PAs have usual shift patterns, they are available for shifts any day. Everyone works weekends on a rotational basis. This is essential to ensure shifts are distributed fairly and to cover all shifts during periods of annual leave or sickness. Please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement.
