Health Care Assistant Paediatric needed for young boy in WF10, £10/hour (10 hrs at night) - CASTLEFORD - WF10

• Approximately 10 hours per week consisting of 1 waking night shift every Sunday. 
• All staff are expected to take turns to pick up extra shifts to cover for holidays.
• Staff will work the hours agreed per week and must be flexible to meet the client’s needs. 
• At times you will be expected to support the client away from the home, any travel expenses and costs associated with this will be reimbursed.
  
  

• The starting rate of pay for this post is £10.00 p/h

• All staff must be over 18 years of age. 
• You will be required to undertake a DBS check and provide proof of your right to work in the UK. 
• You must complete shadow training with a current member of the client’s team. 
• All successful applicants will be required to work a 6 month probationary period.

• You will be working as part of a small team to provide quality care and support to a child and his family. 
• Your role is to meet all of the child’s needs by supporting a clinical care assistant. 
• You will need to be alert, calm and patient at all times and be able to maintain an accurate record of activity. 
• You will be required to carry out all aspects of personal care and assist in using a peg feed system. 
• Assisting in the administration of medication is also a part of your role and full training in the above activities will be given.
