Gentleman in Downham Market seeking PA for at least 8 hours per week @ £12.50 p/h - Downham Market - PE38

• General household cleaning
• Food preparation: cook evening meal, prepare light lunch

• To assist with dressing
• To assist with transfers
• Support to access the community 
• Ensure medication is taken at the right time
• Keep a diary of tasks completed daily

• Full UK driving licence and own car with appropriate insurance

• Previous experience of working in a care role
• Previous experience of working with someone with a neurological disorder 
• Willing to take up training as required

• The rate of pay for this position is £12.50 per hour
• Mileage: 45p per mile
• You will be reimbursed for any agreed expense as part of this role
• Access to free Care Skills training for employed workers
• If the role includes any of the following: manual Handling, handling of hazardous chemicals or food handling, you will be required to undertake annual training
• Hours and days of work: 8 hours every Thursday 8.30am to 5pm. Potential for more hours on other days

• A satisfactory Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer 
• Satisfactory references from two referees, one of which must be your current or last employer
• Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months
