The job:
We are looking for Personal Assistants (PA’s) to work with a young lady who lives independently at home. You will provide personal care, companionship, socialising, meal preparation and light household duties.
The role will be varied, sometimes the day will be about good conversation, friendship, and spending time at home Allowing her to get on with her studies alone, Other days will be about getting out and about locally, maybe to walk her dog, or enjoy social activities or appointments.
Every day is about giving caring, friendly support.
There are elements of Moving and Handling that require the use of a hoist and the client is capable of directing you on how to move and reposition her safely.
The right person:
It is not essential that you have experience in care but you must have common sense, be flexible, enthusiastic and willing to learn! You will receive full training in all aspects of caring. The main thing is that you have a naturally friendly and caring nature.
The Hours:
Work patterns are well planned with part-time hours available. You will work as part of a team and willing to pick up additional hours and be flexible to cover holidays and times of sickness.
Successful applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. This post is subject to DBS checks the cost of which will be met by your employer.
