Do you have an interest in supporting people to lead an ordinary life? Do you have a passion for helping someone to maintain their independence?

We are looking to recruit a Personal Care Assistant to support a lady living in Barrow who has complex health needs. The role will include providing support with social, personal and health care needs. You will be involved in clinical support tasks including catheterisation management, administering medications and other clinical responsibilities. You will support the lady and her family to go out and participate in social activities and to enjoy social interaction.

It is not essential that you have experience in care and support but you must have common sense, be enthusiastic and willing to learn! You will receive full training in all aspects of clinical duties. 

You will work alongside the lady, her family, the existing team and trained healthcare professionals who will provide full support during induction and training in all aspects of clinical and other duties. You will work in the family home, where everyone works well together.
