Female personal care assistant for independent elderly lady mornings Barnet EN5 - BARNET - EN5

New Barnet EN5 1JW Mornings only, Part-time, 3 mornings a week- flexible/ days can be arranged with family.

Trustworthy and reliable PA required to help an independent elderly lady, living in Barnet, who lives with her husband, and who both are very able and independent people.  

The lady has just returned from hospital following a hip replacement and may require help with dressing in the immediate future.  Other than that, it would involve working alongside her to undertake basic household chores and reminding her to do things safely so that she doesn't fall over again.  

He still drives, despite being 95, and he will go shopping, but this could change and so the job could require different or additional tasks in the future. 

Hours / days will be flexible until a routine that suits both you and them is established. Applying candidates will need a car, just because their home is not accessible otherwise by public transport.

We would like applying PAs to be respectful of the lady's (couple's) independence, and are looking for someone who is smart, well spoken and understands personal/work boundaries.

Identification and credentials will be thoroughly checked, and references sought before anyone is hired for a trial or otherwise.
