Female Personal Care Assistant required to support a lady with complex health conditions who has severe allergies and lives in the Chester le Street Area
16 hours per week @ £9.15 per hour – regular hours will fall on a weekend, additional hours will also be available to cover other team members’ holidays/sickness so flexibility around picking up additional hours would be an advantage
An experienced care assistant is required to support a lady with severe allergies, and complex health conditions with day to day tasks and personal care.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Keeping home environment clean due to client’s severe allergies
- Personal Care
- Laundry
- Preparing meals from scratch
- Chaperoning on hospital visits (transport will be provided)
- Accompanying client to activities outside the home (transport will be provided)
- Taking client out locally in wheelchair
Additional Information/Requirements
Client has severe allergies so it is a requirement that employee does not wear perfume to work, or use fabric conditioner
Successful candidate would be working in a totally smoke free environment due to allergies of client
Training will be provided in use of oxygen and epipen
An enhanced DBS disclosure will be requirement, to be paid for by the employer
