Personal Assistant/Support Worker
£9.50 - £10.50 an hour depending on experience
Leeds 13
We already have a fantastic team of care assistants who support a lovely young person with profound learning disabilities, autism and complex epilepsy to have a safe, meaningful and active life. We are looking for someone equally compassionate, reliable and conscientious to join the team. Previous experience of social care is not essential.
You will be required to work in our client’s home and also at events and activities in the local area and beyond. We can offer a supportive and pleasant home environment, with a comprehensive package of paid training to support the client within a structured pattern of activities. The client has a lovely nature and is fun to work with.
Full-time candidates preferred. Shifts are currently 7.30am to 1.30pm and 1.15pm to 8.30pm seven days a week; you must be available to work some weekends on a rota basis. Our client requires around the clock care. In order for this to be possible it is essential candidates are flexible in their availability. While all our care assistants have normal weekly working hours, you will occasionally be asked to work on other days/times to cover for staff absence.
Our client has been identified as being extremely vulnerable to Coronavirus. For the present time, in order to limit the risk of infection, we can only consider care workers who will work exclusively on this package. This also protects the team of care assistants working hard to support her at this difficult time.
