The shifts I need cover for is Monday 7am-2pm, Thursday 7am-2pm and Friday 2pm-10pm, the pay rate is £9.43 (gross) at all times. 5.6 weeks holiday (pro rata)
I am young lady 32yrs old I have a tracheostomy and peg feed . I am a disabled young lady who lives independently in the community. I require a PA to enable me to live more independently and accompany me to activities outside the home. I use a wheelchair when outside the home so my PA must be confident in pushing a wheelchair.

I use a voice aid to help me communicate and I enjoy using the internet and chatting to my friends online require a person who can provide the assistance I require under my direction. My personal assistant must be reliable.

My personal assistant must be able to handle the physical skills of lifting, pushing and bending. They do not have to be strong to do this, technique is as important as physical strength. They must be prepared to assist with intimate personal care.

I have a tracheostomy and I am fed through peg feeding so my PA would need to have the confidence in cleaning the tracheostomy and also applying the feed to my peg feeder. Training will be given on both these things.

Support Tasks

Accompany me to the cinema / shopping / other activities
Clean my tracheostomy
Provide support when I go to the toilet
Administer shake into my peg feed
Provide me with good company
Any other request that I may reasonably make
